select the part of the video that you want to gif with the two sliders at the ends:.The clip you recorded should automatically appear in your videos folder right after you close the window, and then you can follow the same steps as above, just use the clip instead of the whole video so you aren’t importing 500 frames at once, which makes photoshop run really slow Then play the video until the scene you want to gif ends, then stop the video and close out of vlc player

Note that if the video is long, like 12 min+ go to vlc player and open the video there, then move the time slider a few seconds before the scene you want to gif, pause it, and then move to the top of the window and go to playback > record, File explorer should pop up, and you’ll find your video through there once you’ve found it, double click on it.First, open up photoshop (make sure you already downloaded a video and know where you can find it) then go to file > import > video frames to layers.ts files are basically a cleaner and smoother version of these videos i download them mostly from these two sites: ( x, x) ts files are what i use to gif all performance videos i never take any of them from youtube bc the quality is rlly poor nd. i use this site to download vlive videos and this site to download youtube + all other videos excluding.since most kpop groups have their own vlives, i primarily use mx’s vlive and youtube to find vids. This part is pretty straightforward you need videos in order to gif so this section just covers where i get my videos and how i download them ! also it would be a good idea to create a folder for these videos so they don’t get lost !

Okay so I had some peeps asking me abt elements of photoshop, nd just how to gif in general so i thought i’d make a tutorial on my giffing process !ĭisclaimer: understand that i am still an amateur when it comes to photoshop, so if i miss something or don’t explain something clearly, send me a message and i’ll try to explain things better and/or refer you to a tutorial that breaks things down better !
